Shreya Ghoshal ‘Introduces’ Newborn Son

Mumbai: Shreya Ghoshal and husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya were blessed with their first child on May 22.

Eleven days later, the reputed singer shared a picture of their newborn son as well as his name — Devyaan Mukhopadhyaya.

The proud parents are seen holding the kid, whose face is remained from the camera.

“Introducing – ‘Devyaan Mukhopadhyaya’.. He arrived on 22nd May & changed our lives forever. In that first glimpse as he was born he filled our hearts with a kind of love only a mother, a father can feel for their child. Pure uncontrollable overwhelming love @shiladitya,” Shreya posted on Twitter along with the picture.


Devyaan means serving the Gods, or chariot of the Gods’.

Fans poured love on the couple and the child. One of them said, “… this was the most awaited and precious picture ever… Welcome prince Devyaan.”

Shreya delivered the boy on May 22 and shared the news with her fans with a post on Instagram.

“God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. @shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy,” Shreya had written.
