New Delhi: Renowned for her soulful voice and incredible versatility, Shreya Ghoshal has been the voice behind numerous Bollywood chartbusters. Recognising her immense contribution to the music industry, Madame Tussauds honoured her with a life-size wax statue, making her the first young-Indian singer to receive this prestigious tribute at its Delhi museum.

From heartfelt romantic melodies to high-energy dance tracks, her exceptional vocal range has mesmerized audiences worldwide.

Shreya Ghoshal’s journey from a promising young talent to a musical icon is a story of dedication, passion, and extraordinary skill. Her melodious voice has made an indelible mark on the hearts of millions, earning her the title of the “Queen of Melody.” The wax figure at Madame Tussauds stands as a testament to her unparalleled influence, celebrating her legacy not just in India but on a global scale.

Ghoshal rose to fame after winning Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2000, which led to her Bollywood debut in Devdas (2002). Her soulful songs earned her multiple National and Filmfare Awards, making her a household name.

However, Ghoshal has collaborated with top composers and lent her voice to numerous languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu. Some of her popular hits include Teri Ore, Agar Tum Mil Jao, and Manwa Laage. Throughout her career, she has sung professionally in over 20 languages, recording a total of 373 songs to date.

Shreya has established herself as one of India’s most recognizable vocalists by pursuing independent music and international collaborations outside of Bollywood.
