Bhubaneswar: Two IAS officers have been given new responsibilities in Odisha as the state government effected a minor reshuffle in officers’ cadre.
Siddhartha Das has been appointed as the Director of Sports, said a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department.
Das was working as the Additional Secretary to Finance department with the additional charge of Additional Director at the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection.
Similarly, Deepankar Mohapatra has been appointed as the Managing Director of Odisha Small Industries Corporation Limited (OSIC), Cuttack, said the notification.
Mohapatra was working as the Additional Director at the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection in Odisha.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Md. Sadique Alam as the Managing Director of OSIC shall stand terminated from the date Mohapatra takes charge, added the notification.
