Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani became man and wife on Tuesday in a grand ceremony at Jaisalmer.
As the beautiful couple shared first pictures of their dreamy wedding on social media, netizens went berserk showering their love and blessings.
“Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai.. We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead,” both wrote with love and folded hands emojis.
Both Sidharth and Kiara posted three wedding pictures, two of which were common and the third one showed the groom kissing bride in one and vice-versa in the other’s Instagram account.
The pictures are set to become the highest-viewed celebrity wedding photos on Instagram. Around 20 million people have viewed Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding pictures on internet (and counting).
There have been a number of celebrity weddings in the last few years, of which Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s marriage photos garnered 20.4 million views.
Actress Athiya Shetty and Team India vice-captain KL Rahul, who tied the knot recently, attracted 16.4 million views, while wedding photos of actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha had 257,000 views.
Sidharth and Kiara were spotted leaving Jaisalmer airport on Wednesday afternoon.
The newly-married couple, with Kiara sporting red sindoor, were clicked in deboarding the car and waving at the crowd outside the airport.
While the Jaisalmer wedding was attended by around 100 guests, Sidharth and Kiara will reportedly host two big receptions — one in Delhi on February 9 and another in Mumbai on February 12.
