New Delhi: Manjinder Singh Sirsa asserted on Wednesday that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) will continue to fight the legal battle against Kangana Ranaut for her derogatory remarks against the Sikhs and farmers until she is put behind the bars.
“We will fight this battle until she is put behind bars for spreading hatred against Farmers and Sikhs,” Shiromani Akali Dal leader and DSGMC president Sirsa tweeted on Wednesday. A day earlier, the Sikh body had registered an FIR against the Bollywood actress who doesn’t tire of getting embroiled in controversies.
Kangana has been booked under Section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the IPC.
Earlier in the day, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik warned that the Central government won’t be able to protect Kangana from the ambit of law by providing her Y-plus security.
