Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University on Saturday appointed Prof Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan and Prof Gangadhar Sahoo as Pro-Vice Chancellor.
Prof Pradhan is presently working as registrar of the Deemed to be University while Prof Sahoo is the Dean of Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, SOA’s faculty of medical sciences.
Both will continue to discharge their present responsibilities in addition to their new assignment.
Prof. Pradhan earlier worked as Dean of SOA’s faculty of hospitality and tourism management, Principal of faculty of management sciences and Associate Professor in the department of Commerce in Manipur University.
Prof. Sahoo is a renowned gynaecologist of the state and was previously head of the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the VSS Medical College Hospital at Burla.
Eminent neurosurgeon Prof. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra is presently SOA’s Vice-chancellor while Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda is the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
