Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Odisha witnessed a marginal rise in the last 24 hours with Similigida in Koraput recording 8°C, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
G Udayagiri in Kandhamal recorded 8.5°C followed by Koraput and Phulbani in Kandhamal at 9°C and 10°C respectively. The mercury hovered around 14°C at several other places, including Bhubaneswar (17.6) and Cuttack (18.2).

The IMD further said that very dense fog was observed at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Chandbali, and Paradip. Angul and Puri experienced shallow fog.
