Singer-Music Composer Arijit Singh To Don Director’s Hat For Jungle Adventure

Mumbai: Popular singer and music composer Arijit Singh is set to don the director’s hat for a jungle adventure.

A report by Pinkvilla states that Arijit has teamed up with producer Mahaveer Jain for directing an “ambitious script” written by him and Koyel Singh.

“Arijit has been toying with the idea of turning a director for a while now, and has been silently working to develop an ambitious script. His first feature film as a director will be a one-of-a-kind Jungle Adventure written by himself with Koyel Singh,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.

“It’s an ambitious big-budget jungle adventure, and Arijit has been working with a crew on the pre-production work. In the next one month, the film will enter the casting stage, and the idea is to lock a top-notch star-cast on board the film,” the source added.

Arijit made his Bollywood debut as a singer in 2011 with the song ‘Phir Mohabbat’ from the movie ‘Murder 2.’

He rose to fame with the song ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from ‘Aashiqui 2’, for which he bagged his first Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

He went on to win National Awards for Best Male Playback Singer for ‘Binte Dil’ from ‘Padmaavat’ (2018), and ‘Kesariya’ from ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ (2022).

The singer recently collaborated with Ed Sheeran on the song “Sapphire.”
