Puri: Renowned Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam visited Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri town on Wednesday and offered prayers at the 12th century shrine.
The singer was welcomed by the servitors at the Singhadwar and escorted into the temple complex. Sonu Nigam paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath and siblings inside the temple and sought the blessings of the Trinity.
He went around the sprawling temple complex and offered prayers at the other shrines located inside.
Sonu, who was in Odisha to attend a cultural event at the famous Bali Jatra in Cuttack, turned emotional after having darshan of the sibling deities in the 12th century shrine.
