Bhubaneswar: While the result of the annual Plus II examinations in Odisha has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Higher Education Department has issued advanced guidelines for admission in the Plus III streams.
According to the guidelines, there will be a single-phase online admission this year. The first and second phases and the spot admissions will be held through the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) portal.
The students have to fill up their form and mention their mobile phone number and e-mail ID after registering their names on the SAMS portal. The admission of each student will be held through his/her special login ID. The students will get detailed information about admission through their e-mail ID.
The students will have to deposit the admission fee online at the time of the admission through the SAMS Society for which the principals of all Plus III colleges have been asked to provide the details.
Apart from this, the Higher Education Department has asked the Plus III colleges and self-financing colleges to submit a list of fees fixed for admission in different streams.
The admission fee for the general category, SC and ST students has been fixed at Rs 200 while the fee is waived for the physically handicapped and transgender students.
