SIT Meet On Black Money In Cuttack on March 7

Cuttack: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Supreme Court to monitor the investigation and steps being taken to bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks, will have its 10th meeting in Cuttack on Saturday.

The meeting to be held at the residence of the SIT vice-chairman Justice Arijit Pasayat will be attended by senior police officers and representatives of investigating agencies like Crime Branch, Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax, Intelligence and Central Revenue Department.

The SIT in its previous meeting held here on January 16, 2018, had discussed issues relating to illegal financial transactions by individuals and the progress of the investigation into the chit fund cases.
