Bhubaneswar: Situ Behera of the Higher Secondary School, Nayagarh has topped annual Plus II Commerce examination, the result of which was announced by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Wednesday.
Out of 40 students, who have secured more than 90% marks, Behera has secured the 94.5% marks while Manaswita Mohanty of the same school and Rahul Prasanna Sahu have secured second and third position with 93.6% and 93.5% marks respectively.
In terms of the performance of the schools, 7 students of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Nilakanthanagar in Berhampur, 6 from Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School in Cuttack and 3 from Nayagarh Higher Secondary School in Nayagarh have found place in the list.

Earlier, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said 19,318 of 25,772 students have cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 74.95, which is 4.69% higher than the last year’s 70.26%.
