Rayagada: Six persons were injured when an ambulance rammed into a stationary pick-up van near Siliguda in Rayagada district in the early hours of Thursday.
Locals got the injured admitted to a nearby hospital.
The ambulance, carrying a patient and five others, was on its way to Rayagada district headquarters hospital from a village in Kashipur when the driver lost control over the vehicle and dashed against the broiler-laden van. The driver was reportedly over speeding. The front portion of the ambulance was completely damaged in the crash, police sources said.
