Angul: Six more COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Angul district on Monday, taking the total tally of persons infected by the virus to 47.
Of the new cases, four are employees of a private company at Athmallik. Two of them are from West Bengal and two are locals, Angul Collector Manoj Kumar Mohanty informed.
The other two work at Kaniha. Of them, one is a Delhi returnee and was in-home quarantine. The other is a Maharashtra returnee and was staying in a quarantine centre.
All the new patients were admitted to the COVID Hospital in Talcher on Monday, the collector said.
