Six OSS Cadre Officers Transferred To Odisha Chief Minister’s Office



Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has deputed six officers from Odisha Secretariat Service (OSS) cadre to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

According to an official notification issued by the Home Department, Habib Mohan Murmu, previously serving as the Under Secretary in the Department


of Women and Child Development, alongside Shashanka Sekhar Nayak, a Section Officer from the Information and Public Relations Department, have been directed to immediately take up their new responsibilities. In addition, Anil Adhikari from the Revenue and Disaster Management Department (Special Relief Commissioner’s office), Biswakalyan Pattanaik from the Planning and Convergence Department, Prabhash Beheramali from the Commerce and Transport Department, and Pritam Nayak from the General Administration and Public Grievance Department have also been transferred to the Chief Minister’s Office.

The departments concerned have been directed to relieve the officers immediately to facilitate their joining at the CMO.

This realignment is being seen as a designed to streamline administrative workflows under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s governance framework, optimising the processing of state policies and public grievances.
