Jharsuguda: Six more ‘COVID Warriors’ of the district police have tested positive for the COVID-19.
District SP Rahul P.R. said six personnel, who were confirmed to be COVID-19 positive, on Tuesday, are stable. The affected personnel include three from Badmal police station, he added.
The police station is being sanitised and will function from the reception area on its premises, the SP said. Their contacts have been kept under quarantine.
The district has reported 566 COVID-19 positive cases so far. While 415 persons have recovered from the disease, 150 cases are active at present, according to official sources.
