Keonjhar: The ADJ POCSO court here on Tuesday sentenced six persons to 20-year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 each for raping a minor girl in Barbil area of Keonjhar district in 2015.
The court awarded the punishment under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
The minor girl was abducted by the six when she was on her way back home. They took her to a nearby forest and raped her.
Following a complaint lodged by the family of the victim, the police later arrested the culprits and forwarded them to the court.
