Bhubaneswar: At least six Union Ministers,, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, are in Odisha to attend different programmes in the state on Friday.
Apart from Sitharaman, the Union Ministers visiting the state are Dharmendra Pradhan, Pankaj Choudhary, Darshana Jardosh, Kapil Moreshwar Patil and Bishweswar Tudu, sources said.
Nirmala Sitharaman and her deputy, Pankaj Chaudhary attended a post-budget discussion in Bhubaneswar. They also addressed a press meet in the state capital on the Union Budget 2023-24.
After interacting with various stakeholders from industry, trade, banking & insurance on the budget, Sitharaman is scheduled to visit IIT Bhubaneswar this afternoon.
Similarly, Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Kapil Moreshwar Patil and Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Tribal Affairs, Bishweswar Tudu will attend the inaugural session of the National Workshop on Localisation of Sustainable Development Goals in Gram Panchayats in Bhubaneswar.
Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State for Textiles, Darshana Jardosh will visit Jagatsingpur district as part of the ‘Lok Sabha pravaas’ programme, the sources added.
