Bhubaneswar: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Monday issued a notice to the Director General of Police (DGP) regarding the investigation into the recovery of a skeleton from a seized vehicle on Janla Outpost premises on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
The Commission directed the DGP to ensure quick action in this case and submit a report within eight weeks.

The NHRC directive came in response to a petition filed by a human rights activist, Akhand, who alleged tardy investigation by the Commissionerate Police.
