Bhubaneswar: Slain Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das’ daughter Dipali Das has allegedly been duped of Rs 1.5 lakh by cyber fraudsters.
On Monday, she lodged a complaint with Ainthapalli police in Sambalpur district, alleging that Rs 1.5 lakh was withdrawn from her account in two transactions. “I received two SMSes on my registered mobile number on Sunday last about Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 50,000 being debited from my account with the Ainthapalli branch of the ICICI Bank. These withdrawals were not done by me, nor did I share my bank account details with anyone,” the complaint read.
She is alleged to have received an OTP from an unknown number but did not share them with anyone.
Dipali has already taken up the matter with her bank authorities and sought police help to recover the lost money.
Meanwhile, Ainthapalli police have registered a case under Sections 419 and 420 IPC and Sections 66(C) and 66 (D) of the Information Technology Act 2000.
