Hyderabad: As pictures of a ‘happy’ Allu Arjun meeting his friends and family members after getting bail in the stampede case went viral, netizens started slamming him.
Criticised for his ‘bail’ celebrations, the ‘Pushpa’ took to social media to share a post expressing concern for the injured minor, who lost his mother in the Sandhya theatre stampede.
Allu stated that he cannot meet the minor and his family due to legal restrictions. But he is committed to bear the medical expenses of the boy and fulfil other needs of the family.
“I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, I have been advised not to visit him and his family at this time. My prayers remain with them and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs,” Allu wrote on Instagram. “I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest.”
The minor is currently undergoing treatment in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at a private hospital and is on ventilatory support with minimal requirements.
“He is hemodynamically stable and tolerating tube feedings. But he has an intermittent fever and is still in altered sensorium and has dystonic movements,” stated the hospital where the boy is being treated.
Allu was arrested by Hyderabad police on Friday morning from his residence.
The lower court sent him to 14 days judicial custody, but later in the day, the Telangana High Court, on hearing the quash petition filed by the actor, granted him interim bail for four weeks.
The actor had to spend a night in jail apparently because of some errors in the order which delayed his release till Saturday morning.
