Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw a slight dip in the night temperature in the last 24 hours with mercury levels dropping to 19.2 degree Celsius from 21.8 degree celsius the previous day.
Cuttack recorded 18.5 degree Celsius compared to 20 degree Celsius the previous night.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), however, has forecast a gradual rise in the minimum temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius across Odisha during the next 4-5 days.
The weather agency has also warned of dense fog for three more days. Thick blanket of fog may engulf one or two places in Cuttack, Khurda, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Koraput districts till Friday morning. Dense fog warning continues for one or two places in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Kalahandi and Kandhamal during the subsequent 24 hours and in Nayagarh, ,Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput till Sunday morning.
