Slight Drop In Odisha’s Daily COVID Tally

Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded a slight drop in the number of COVID cases on Sunday with 211 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 222 cases on Saturday and 202 cases on Friday.

According to the I & PR Department, 123 fresh cases are from quarantine and 88 local contacts. Among them, 26 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

16. Nabarangpur: 1
17. Nayagarh: 9
18. Nuapada: 3
19. Puri: 11
20. Rayagada: 5
21. Sambalpur: 11
22. Sonepur: 2
23. Sundargarh: 32

Besides, nine cases are from the state pool.

With 13,823 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was 1.52%. The number of active cases stood at 1,421.
