Slight Rise In COVID Positive Cases In Bhubaneswar; Tally Rises To 82,685

Bhubaneswar: The capital city registered 568 new COVID positive cases in the last 24 hours, against 547 the previous day.

Among the new cases, 109 are from quarantine and 459 local contacts. The total number of cases in Bhubaneswar has now gone up to 82,685.

Nayapalli reported 38 cases, followed by Patia (31), Chandrasekharpur (25), Patrapada (23), Old Town (19), Khandagiri (18), Rasulgarh (17),  Laxmisagar (16) and Dumduma (14).

On the other hand, 1,135 patients have recovered from the disease.

With 76,238 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 6,057 active cases.

With four more fatalities, total death rate in Bhubaneswar touched 369.
