New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani slammed Congress for alleging that her daughter runs an illegal bar in Goa.

Smriti Irani got emotional and was teary-eyed while speaking about Congress’s allegations. “I will ask the answers in the court of law in the court of people. Send Rahul Gandhi to Amethi again. Phir Rahul Gangi ko dhool chataenge,” she said.

“Two middle-aged Congress men are responsible for the character assassination of an 18-year-old girl. Her only fault is that her mother talks about Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. She is studying in college and her fault is that her mother held a press conference against the two Gandhi’s. My daughter is not a politician and she has a normal life as a student,” she said.

“I want to ask Pawan Khera and my daughter studies in a college. She does not run any bar. Please check the papers. Where is my daughter’s name? They are levelling allegations against my daughter on the basis of the Right to Information (RTI),” Smriti Irani said.
