Bhubaneswar: Smruti Ranjan Lenka will replace Loknath Maharathy as the interim president of Odisha Pradesh Youth Congress (OPYC).
Indian Youth Congress president B V Srinivas appointed him to the post with immediate effect.
A group of the youth unit had earlier demanded a change of guard and the intra-party squabble came to the fore during the extended executive body meeting of the Pradesh Youth Congress at Odisha Congress Bhawan on January 13.
