Briefing mediapersons after a meeting of the Daitapati Nijog, president Rabindra Dasmahapatra said that a list of 150 sevayats has been submitted to the SJTA.
“Of the 150 sevayats, 60 will be in charge of the Pahandi of Lord Jagannath, 50 of Lord Balabhadra, 30 of Devi Subhadra and 10 of Lord Sudarshan. We have proposed the temple administration to conduct the COVID-19 test of these sevayats,” Dasmahapatra said while maintaining that there was no need for testing all Daitapati sevayats.
