Bhubaneswar: A case of snatching was reported from Odisha capital during Durga Ashtami puja on Sunday. The victim: Anjulata Ray (44) from Behera Sahi.
According to Ray, a snatcher made away with her 15 gram gold chain from Nayapalli Durga pandal. around 9.30 am this morning. She found the chain missing after coming out of the crowded pandal.
“I had queued up at the Pandal for the Asthami puja. After some time I realised that my golden chain was missing. I complained about it to Nayapalli Durga Puja committee and requested them to check the CCTV footage., but in vain. I have lodged a complaint with Nayapalli police,” she said.
