Bhubaneswar: A two-day Regional Mentorship Camp will be held at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), the faculty of engineering and technology of SOA (Deemed to be university), from Friday.
Fifty young scientific researchers and innovators, winners of national level science fairs affiliated to the Initiative for Research and Innovation in Science (IRIS) will attend the camp.
The participants, drawn from south and east zone, will showcase their innovative projects during the programme.
The aim is to foster innovation among bright national level school students by reviewing their work, providing relevant feedback and mentorship for the future, said ITER Electrical Engineering Department HOD Prof Renu Sharma.
The scientific direction to this fair is being provided by a team of volunteer scientists from different national labs and universities, she added.
