Bhubaneswar: Dr Licon Kumar Acharya, Assistant Professor in the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), SOA Deemed to be University, has topped the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) examination in Plant Pathology.
Held nationwide, the examination was conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).
Dr Acharya graduated from the Agriculture College under Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology at Chiplima and did his post-graduation from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in West Bengal.
