Bhubaneswar: There’s good news for agriculture and veterinary science students.
The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has set up a centre here to train these students to help them become self-reliant and entrepreneurs.
The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (CEIM) was inaugurated in the university campus on Friday by SOA Vice-President Saswati Das.
CEIM will strive to educate and train students of SOA-run Institute of Agriculture Sciences (IAS) and Institute of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (IVSAH) to be self-reliant and become entrepreneurs, said Das.
SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda also addressed the audience.
Others present at the inauguration were SOA Pro-Chancellor and Registrar Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan, Dean of IAS Prof. Santosh Kumar Rout, Dean of IVSAH Prof. Brahmadev Pattanaik, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, faculty members and various SOA officials.
