Los Angeles: Leading online entertainment provider Netflix is coming up with a web series titled ‘Social Distance’ that revolves around the COVID-19 pandemic.
The web series will be highlighting the “new, bizarre, bewildering reality we are all experiencing” in the wake of the deadly pandemic.
The series, being created by Jenji Kohan, will be directed by Diego Velasco remotely.
Graham, Jenji Kohan, Tara Herrmann, and Blake McCormick are the executive producers of the show.
In a joint statement, the producers said, “The experience of social distancing is currently universal, but no individual story is the same. Through a broad spectrum of tales and moments, some seismic and some mundane, we hope to capture a moment in time. And we hope that ‘Social Distance’ will help people feel closer to one another.”
Hilary Weisman Graham will take care of the production remotely and the actors will be filming themselves at home.
