Unit-I Haat Shifted To Raj Mahal Square Amid COVID-19 Scare In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: To ensure social distancing and contain the spread of coronavirus, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has temporarily shifted the daily vegetable market at Unit-I to Raj Mahal Square at Bapuji Nagar here.

As decided, some vegetable vendors will be allowed to sit near Raj Mahal Square and the others at the Unit-I High School ground.

A senior BMC official said that the daily vegetable market has been temporarily shifted to Raj Mahal area for 45 days. Instructions have been given to all vegetable vendors to immediately vacate the Unit-I daily market premises, the official added.
