Jajpur: Body of soil conservator officer (SCO) Suresh Mallick was found hanging from a tree on premises of office of deputy director, soil conservation, in Odisha’s Jajpur on Friday.
The deceased was in-charge for Bari block.
According to sources, the watchman found his body hanging from the tree this morning and informed police. The exact reason behind his death is unclear.
Mallick was a native Ahmedpur area in Kendrapada district. While family has been informed about the incident, Town police have begun an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death.
