Keonjhar: A man was allegedly beaten to death by his son at Jharana village in Joda of Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Charan Munda.
According to a local resident, the duo had a quarrel over distribution of rice provided to them under public distrubution system (PDS). Later, the situation turned violent and Charan’s son Guru Charan Munda attacked him with a stick. Charan died on the spot.
On bring informed, Joda police rushed to the spot and seized the body. The accused has also been arrested.
