New Delhi: After actor Poonam Dhillon, singer-rapper Honey Singh has confirmed Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. Singh took to his Instagram stories and shared that even though he is currently in London, he will return to India soon and will be attending the wedding celebrations. Sonakshi and Honey Singh worked together on music videos like Desi Kalakaar (2014) and Kalaastar (2023).
“Tho I gonna be in London shooting Glory’s first song, but I will make sure I will attend my best friend Sonakshi’s wedding as she has been a big support in my career and helped me so many times in life. Best wishes to the power couple Sona and Zaheer! Bholenath bless them,” Honey Singh wrote.
Sonakshi Sinha will tie the knot with her longtime beau, Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, News18 reported. Recently, their wedding invite also went viral on social media. Recently, Sonakshi’s ‘mama’ Pahlaj Nihalani, who is very close to the Sinha family and has been friends with Shatrughan Sinha since 1977, also confirmed the wedding. “I’m Sonakshi’s mama. All my blessings to her and Zaheer. They are finally getting married. I send them all my good wishes,” he told Zoom.
Meanwhile, News18 Showsha said it has exclusively learnt that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as some of the biggest names in Bollywood will be present. Actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma are likely to attend the wedding. Besides this, Salman Khan has also been sent an invitation. Sonakshi has also invited her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-stars including Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal Mehta among others, the report added quoting sources.
