Sonam Kapoor To ‘Perform’ At King Charles III’s Coronation Concert

London: Sonam Kapoor will be in august company in a week’s time.

The Bollywood actress will be among global celebrities at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert to be held at Windsor Castle on May 7.

The Concert will be held a day after King Charles III’s Coronation ceremony, at Westminster Abbey.

The Coronation Concert will feature performances from a number of icons, like Hollywood star Tom Cruise, Winnie The Pooh, Nicole Scherzinger and American girl group The Pussycat Dolls.

According to a report in Variety magazine, Sonam will appear on stage at the Concert to deliver a spoken word performance to introduce the Commonwealth virtual choir.

Sonam alternates between London, where her husband Anand Ahuja lives, and Mumbai.

Also on the invitees’ list are megastars like Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.

Charles will succeed his mother Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96 last September.
