Kolkata: BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a hospital here on Monday night after testing positive for COVID-19, board sources told the PTI.
Ganguly has been admitted to Woodlands hospital. His samples will be sent for genome sequencing to ascertain if he has contracted Omicron.
“He was taken to Woodlands Nursing Home last night. He has been given medication and is currently stable,” a BCCI source told PTI.
