South Star Chiranjeevi Tests COVID-19 Negative, Blames Faulty Testing Kit For Testing Positive Earlier

Hyderabad: South megastar Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter handle on Friday to announce that he is Corona free.

The actor further claimed that he had tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 a couple of days back due to a faulty RT PCR kit.

However, after carrying out three different tests, the doctors declared that he is COVID-19 negative.

Chiranjeevi shared his medical report on social media and wrote, “A group of doctors did three different tests and concluded that I am Covid negative & that the earlier result was due to a faulty RT PCR kit. My heartfelt thanks for the concern, love shown by all of you during this time. Humbled !”

Nonetheless, the actor is quarantining himself at his residence in view of the safety of his family and others.

Chiranjeevi had apparently tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week after his meeting with the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
