Southwest Monsoon Covers Entire Odisha; Check Forecast

Bhubaneswar: Further advancing into the remaining parts of Odisha, the Southwest Monsoon covered the entire state on Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midday bulletin.

FORECAST FOR NEXT FIVE DAYS

June 21 (Till 8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal. Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at many places over the rest districts of Odisha.

June 21 (8.30 am) to June 22 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Khurda, Puri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput and Malkangiri.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal and Ganjam.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Odisha and at many places over the districts of South Odisha.

June 22 (8.30 am) to June 23 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Angul, Deogarh, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior Odisha and at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha.

June 23 (8.30 am) to June 24 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Balasore and Bhadrak.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and at many places over the rest districts Odisha.

June 23 (8.30 am) to June 24 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi and Bolangir.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts Odisha.
