Bhubaneswar: The southwest monsoon withdrew from entire Odisha on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a release.
Along with Odisha, the monsoon also withdrew from the entire country, it added.
Notably, the monsoon had withdrawn from Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir and Nuapada districts and some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Koraput districts of Interior Odisha on Monday.
“With the withdrawal of the monsoon, there will be a gradual fall in the day and night temperature in Odisha in the next three days from October 31,” director of Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, HR Biswas told the media.
