Bhubaneswar: The Central and state governments have come up with a plan for construction of a special circuit house in the hometown of President Droupadi Murmu.
As per reports, the circuit house will come up at Rairangpur in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district with an estimated budget of Rs 50 crore. President Murmu, who belongs to a tribal community of Mayurbhanj, had started her political career from Rairangpur.
The government has already identified the land for the circuit house in Mahuldiha and the Public Works department has sent the proposal to the Notified Area Council (NAC).
As per the layout, the circuit will have an exclusive President’s suite which will be used by Murmu during her visit to the state. The suite will have a drawing room, conference hall, portico and a park.
Besides, there will be separate buildings for accommodation of Central government officials and security personnel on the President’s duty.
