Following relaxation in lockdown norms, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) had decided to run five intra-state special trains from June 8 to 30. Except for Saturday and Sunday, these trains will run on the rest five days of the week.
The ECoR has asked passengers travelling in these special trains to carry their own food and linen and reach Bhubaneswar station for screening at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to enter the railway station. It is mandatory for them to wear face covers and undergo screening.
Notably, 26 lakh passengers have booked tickets for train travel between June 1 and 30 through the Advance Reservation Period (ARP).
