Special Screening Of Internationally Acclaimed Odia Film ‘Dennaa, The Wings’ Organised In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A special screening of internationally acclaimed Odia feature film “Dennaa, The Wings” was organised at Buddhamandir auditorium in the city on Sunday.

Based on the story of child education amid COVID pandemic, ‘Denaa’ has been directed by Santosh Panda of international repute. He is also the story writer of the film which is produced under the banner ‘The Premier Media’.

Dennaa, which is of 45 minutes duration, has bagged more than 30 international awards so far. It has been selected and screened in various international film festivals including Cannes World Film Festival, France; World Film Carnival, Singapore; Sweden Film Award; Lift off Global Network, UK; Film Olympiad Greece; Indo French International Film Festival; ARF International Film Festival, Paris; Mumbai International Film Festival of India and others.

Panda has many award winning films including ‘Sabas Biju’ and Hindi film ‘The Art of Life’ to his credit. “Being an Odia, representing your state and country at the international platforms gives immense satisfaction and proud feeling,” he said.

Panda and child artistes Suhana Kar, Tapas Sarangi, Kalyani Panda have performed in different roles in the film which is now available in YouTube channel RAINBOW.
