Bhubaneswar: To accommodate the festive rush, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) is smartly moving waitlisted passengers to special trains. It has also introduced special trains between Puri and Amritsar, which will help pilgrims go to Amritsar for 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.
08427/08428 Puri-Amritsar-Puri special train will leave Puri at 11.35 pm on November 9, 2019 (Saturday) and reach Amritsar at 10.30 pm on Monday. In the return direction, the train will leave Amritsar at 11.45 pm on November 12 (Tuesday) arrive in Puri at 19.30 pm on Thursday.

PURI-HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL) SPECIAL TRAIN
Services of 01661/01662 Habibganj-Puri-Habibganj (Bhopal) Special Train train will be extended up to last week of November. This train will leave Habibganj at 7.20 am on every Tuesday and arrive n Puri at 10 a.m. on every Wednesday. In the return direction, the train will leave Puri at 3 pm on every Wednesday and reache Habibganj at 3.25 pm on every Thursday.
BHUBANESWAR-BANGALORE SUVIDHA SPECIAL
82843/82844 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Special Train will leave Bhubaneswar at 11.05 pm on every Monday between November 4-25 and will reach Bengaluru at 11.55 pm on the following days. In the return direction, the train will leave Bengaluru at 5.40 am on every Wednesday between November 6-27 and will arrive in Bhubaneswar at 7.30 am the next day.
Special trains towards Howrah:
A special weekly express train is running between Puri and Howrah (Santragachi). Another weekly special express train is running between Shalimar-Puri-Santragachi. Both the special trains will run till December 28.
Special trains towards South India:
A Weekly AC Special Express and a bi-weekly Special Express trains are being run on the Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad route. Similarly, one special train is running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. For western Odisha bound passengers, one weekly Special Express train is running between Sambalpur and Bangalore (Banaswadi). Another weekly train is running between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati, along with a weekly between Srikakulam Road-Kacheguda-Tirupati. ECoR is also running a daily special train between Visakhapatnam and Araku for the nature loving tourists. Services of these trains will be available till December end.
Special trains towards North India:
ECoR is running Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Suvidha Special train to accommodate the rush.

The special trains have numbers starting from “0” or “8”. Passengers can book tickets online or at the PRS counter.
