Bhubaneswar: With a view to accommodate additional rush of passengers during Durga Puja holidays, Ministry of Railways is running special trains towards different destinations from and through East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction by creating additional berths.
The trains are Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Special, Puri-Shalimar (Howrah)-Puri Special, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Special, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special, Kacheguda-Tata-Kacheguda Special, Sealdah-Puri-SealdahSpecial and Santragachhi-Chennai-Santragachhi Special.
Besides, a number of special trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through EcoR jurisdiction during the Puja season.
Important regular trains will have additional coaches during the period.
Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Special:
Puri-Santragachhi-Puri Special Fare Train from Puri will leave at 9.25 pm every Friday between October 4 and December 27. From Santragachhi, it will leave at 7.10 pm every Saturday between October 5 and December 28.
Puri-Shalimar/Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Special:
Shalimar-Puri-Shalimar Special Fare Train from Shalimar will leave at 11.55 pm on every Friday between October 4 to December 27, 2019 and from Puri will leave at 11.55 pm on every Saturday between October 5 to December 28, 2019.
Santragachhi-Chennai-Santragachhi Special:
Santragachhi-Chennai-Santragachhi Special from Santragachhi will leave at 12.40 am every Friday between October 4 and December 27. From Chennai, it will leave at 6.20 pm every Saturday between October 5 and December 28.
Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar AC Special:
Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar AC Special from Bhubaneswar will leave at 1.20 pm every Thursday between October 3 and December 26. From Secunderabad, it will leave at 9.30 pm every Friday between October 4 and December 27.
Kacheguda-Tata-Kachieuda Special:
Kacheguda-Tata-Kacheguda Special from Kacheguda will leave at 1.00 pm every Monday between October 7 and December 30. From Tata, it will leave at 10.50 pm every Tuesday between October 8 and December 31.
Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Bi-Weekly Special:
Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad bi-weekly Special from Secunderabad will leave at 12.40 am every Wednesday and Saturday between October 2 and November 30. From Bhubaneswar, it will leave at 6.00 pm every Thursday and Sunday between October 3 and November 28.
Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Fare:
Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam will leave at 11.00 pm every Tuesday between October 1 and December 31. From Secunderabad, it will leave at 4.30 pm every Wednesday between October 2 and December 25.
Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special Fare:
Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam will leave at 10.55 every Monday between October 7 and December 30. From Tirupati, it will leave at 3.30 pm every Tuesday between October 8 and December 31.
Sambalpur-Banaswadi (Bangalore)-Sambalpur Special Fare:
Sambalpur-Banaswadi-Sambalpur Special Fare Train from Sambalpur will leave at 9.35 am every Wednesday from October 2 to December 25. From Banaswadi, it will leave at 11.30 pm every Thursday between October 3 and December 26.
Kacheguda-Srikakulam-Kacheguda Special:
Kacheguda-Srikakulam-Kacheguda Special from Kacheguda will leave at 6.45 pm every Sunday from October 6 to December 29. From Srikakulam, it will leave at 5.15 pm every Monday from October 7 to December 30.
Kacheguda-Srikakulam-Tirupati Special:
Kacheguda-Srikakulam-Tirupati Special from Kacheguda will leave at 6.45 pm every Tuesday from October 1 to December 31. From Srikakulam, it will leave at 4.30 pm every Wednesday between October 2 and January 1, 2020.
Habibganj (Bhopal)-Puri-Habibganj Special:
Habibganj-Puri-Habibganj Special from Habibganj will leave at 7.20 am every Tuesday. From Puri, it will leave at 3.00 pm every Wednesday up to October 30.
Sealdah-Puri-Sealdah AC Special:
