Speculations Put To Rest; Harbhajan To Be AAP’s Candidate For Rajya Sabha Election

Ludhiana: Former Team India player Harbhajan Singh will be Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP’s) Punjab candidate for upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

AAP, which won from a staggering 92 constituencies out of 117 in the recent Punjab assembly elections, will get five seats in Rajya Sabha.

There has been speculation over ‘Turbanator’ Bhajji joining politics for some months. Initially, there were reports of Bhajji, one of India’s finest off-spinners, joining BJP.

A few days later, Bhajji was seen posing with then-Punjab Congress chief and fellow-former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Finally, all rumours have been put to rest with AAP’s announcement.
