Bhubaneswar: A retired bank employee died after being hit by a speeding truck near Kala Bhoomi, Odisha Crafts Museum, at Gandamunda in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Sadananda Swain of the locality. The accident took place when he was taking his morning walk. He died on the spot, sources said.
On being informed, police reached the spot, arrested the accused driver, and seized the truck. The body has also been sent for postmortem. Further investigation is underway.
