Jharsuguda: As the Centre has announced the resumption of domestic flights from May 25, the booking of tickets has begun at the Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Odisha’s Jharusugda district.
As decided, the SpiceJet Airline will resume flight operations from Jharsuguda to New Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad while the Alliance Air will resume its flight operation to Bhubaneswar and Kolkata from May 25.
A preparatory meeting to this effect was held by the Jharusugda collector in presence of the director of the VSS Airport, district SP, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) and other senior district officials here on Friday.
The meeting decided to strictly enforce the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Civil Aviation Ministry for the passengers.
