SpiceJet Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Bhubaneswar Airport, Passenger Dead

Bhubaneswar: A Kolkata-bound SpiceJet flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik Airport here after a 48-year old passenger fell sick on board.

Doctors from Apollo Hospital proclaimed the passenger, Ashok Kumar Sharma, dead upon landing.

Airport sources said SpiceJet flight 623 from Chennai made the emergency landing at 11.15 AM after Sharma complained of breathing trouble. An AAI fire ambulance took him to the medical room of terminal 1 at 11.35 AM, but he had died by then.

The body was sent to Capital Hospital.
